I’m dedicated to bringing visions to life with design and code.

Hi, I’m Jason Platts, a graphic designer and web developer based just outside Philadelphia. Growing up in Australia during the 1980s and 1990s, I witnessed firsthand the rapid growth of technology—from the early days of personal computers to the dawn of the internet. This transformative era sparked my lifelong passion for design and creation, as I became fascinated by the possibilities of blending art and technology.

My first significant leap in understanding technology came when I attended TAFE SA, earning a Diploma of Software Development. This Australian, government-run, industry-focused institution (similar to a trade school in the U.S.) provided me with foundational skills that have served me throughout my career and allowed me to harness technology more effectively. Later, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Medical Imaging from Misericordia University, graduating as valedictorian with a 4.0 GPA. This experience helped me grow personally and professionally and remains a core part of who I am today. While this path blended my love for art and science, I ultimately found my calling in design and development, where I could participate in the building and refinement of creative products.

With over a decade of experience designing for print and web, I bring creativity and technical skill to projects of all sizes, with a particular interest in helping small businesses stand out and succeed. Whether it’s crafting compelling advertisements, streamlining workflows, or building dynamic websites with Ruby on Rails, I’m dedicated to creating polished, detail-oriented solutions.

When I’m not designing or coding, you’ll find me reading non-fiction—often textbooks about graphic design or programming—playing guitar, or spending time with my wife, our two boys, and our Samoyed, Mika.
